DIY KIT FZE LLC

Electronic components, development hardware and ready-assembled learning kits for universities, schools, laboratories and engineering businesses across the United Arab Emirates — supplied against purchase orders, with itemised quotations and the technical documentation a tender needs.

About the company

DIY KIT FZE LLC supplies electronic components, development hardware and ready-assembled learning kits to universities, schools, training institutes, laboratories and engineering businesses across the United Arab Emirates.

The company works at the point where a parts list becomes a working project. Rather than selling components alone, we assemble complete, tested kits around a defined syllabus or application — every part identified, sourced, checked and packed as a single deliverable — so that a department receives something that works out of the box instead of a box of parts to reconcile.

Alongside the supply business we design and manufacture our own printed circuit boards for teaching and prototyping, and build custom kits to a customer's own bill of materials. Operations are run from the UAE with locally held stock, nationwide delivery and free collection from Sharjah and Dubai.

The team behind DIY KIT brings a long trading background in the UAE electronics market, and the company is built to work the way institutions actually buy — against purchase orders, with itemised quotations, proforma invoices and technical documentation prepared to accompany every commercial offer.

What we supply

Components and modules

Microcontrollers and development boards · sensors and sensor modules · wireless and communication modules · motor drivers and actuators · displays · power supplies and regulation · passive components · connectors, cables and prototyping hardware · tools, soldering equipment and consumables.

Development platforms

Arduino-compatible boards and shields · ESP32 and ESP8266 Wi-Fi / Bluetooth platforms · Raspberry Pi single-board computers and accessories · STM32 and other ARM development boards · IoT and automation hardware.

Assembled educational kits

Kits are built and tested in-house and supplied with a full parts list. They can be ordered singly or in classroom quantities, and contents can be adjusted to match a course outline. The current catalogue is on the build kits page.

Own-brand hardware

We design and manufacture our own boards where a suitable product does not already exist on the market — a soldering practice and training board, a credit-card-sized Raspberry Pi GPIO reference card printed on ENIG-finished FR-4, and an ESP32 carrier board with add-on shields. These are listed on the our own boards page.

Own-brand boards are produced in controlled batches, each carrying an internal revision code and a fabricator batch reference, so that any board supplied can be traced back to its production run.

Custom kits and project supply

Where a department, project or tender requires a specific configuration, we source against the customer's bill of materials, cost it, assemble it and supply it as a single line item — including kits built to a lecturer's own experiment list, final-year project hardware, and competition or workshop kits in quantity. Start one on the custom kit page.

Serving education and research Schools, colleges & universities
  • Purchase-order trading. We supply against institutional purchase orders and issue formal quotations and proforma invoices for finance and procurement approval.
  • Quotation discipline. Every quotation is itemised — part number, description, quantity, unit price and line total — so it maps directly onto a requisition and can be checked line by line against a technical specification.
  • Specification matching. Where a tender names a specification rather than a product, we identify compliant parts, state clearly where an item is equivalent rather than identical, and never substitute a component without written approval.
  • Class-set supply. Kits are supplied in matched quantities with consistent parts and board revisions across the batch, so a laboratory of twenty students is working with twenty identical setups.
  • Course-aligned kits. Kit contents can be built around an existing module outline, so the hardware matches the lab manual rather than the other way round.
  • Continuity of supply. We hold local stock and re-supply consumables and replacement parts for kits already delivered — which matters where a kit has to survive several semesters.
  • Documentation for procurement. Datasheets, technical submittals and specification compliance matrices are prepared to accompany commercial offers, in the format the tender requires.

Quality and integrity commitments

These are standing working rules, applied to every order and every tender.

  • No component substitution without the customer's written approval.
  • Every specification confirmed in writing on the purchase order or proforma invoice before production or dispatch.
  • First-article inspection and photographs before any full production run of own-brand boards.
  • Nothing over-claimed in a customer or supplier communication — no delivery date we cannot meet, and no stock claimed that we do not hold.
  • Equivalent parts identified as equivalent, never presented as identical.
Tender and project experience

DIY KIT and its team have prepared and submitted complete tender packages to UAE institutional procurement departments, including technical submittals, specification compliance matrices, and multi-stage and best-and-final-offer commercial documents.

Representative areas of work

  • Laboratory and workshop equipment — university procurement tenders, including technical specification compliance matrices and multi-stage commercial offers.
  • Additive manufacturing equipment — sourcing, technical evaluation and tender submission for 3D printing systems.
  • CNC machining equipment — technical and commercial proposals, including datasheets, compliance matrices and staged pricing.
  • Educational electronics kits — supply to engineering and technology departments in class-set quantities.
  • Custom project hardware — built to customer bills of materials for prototype and research work.

Institutional customers

We supply institutional customers in the UAE higher-education sector, including the University of Sharjah and the American University of Sharjah. Contactable references and copies of previous supply documentation can be provided on request as part of a vendor registration or tender submission.

How we work Enquiry to delivery
