The 1.32 Inch PMOLED Display Module is a compact, high-contrast monochrome OLED panel built around the SSD1327Z driver IC. Its 128 × 96 dot matrix renders sharp text, icons and digits in white on a true-black background, and because each OLED pixel emits its own light there is no backlight, no light bleed and almost no current drawn by dark areas. The panel is supplied as a bare chip-on-glass (COG) module with a 16-pin flexible printed circuit (FPC) tail, making it the right choice for products where the display is designed into an enclosure or custom PCB: smart electric meters, wearables, handheld instruments and IoT terminals.
The SSD1327Z controller drives the 128 × 96 matrix and communicates over a 4-wire SPI bus (SCLK, SDIN, D/C#, CS#, plus RES#), with parallel interface modes also supported by the driver. The SSD1327 includes 16-level grey-scale control through its internal registers, so icons and gauges can be rendered with shading rather than pure on/off pixels. The glass measures 30.9 × 27.1 × 1.4 mm (1.56 mm overall module thickness), weighs just 2.8 g and has a 26.85 × 20.14 mm active area. Including the FPC tail the overall length is 78.77 mm.
Smart electric, gas and water meters; wearable and health-monitor displays; smart-home control panels; IoT terminals and sensor nodes with a local readout; benchtop test equipment and handheld instruments; replacement panels for repair work.
This is a bare panel, not a breadboard breakout. It needs a 16-pin FPC connector or an adapter board, and the OLED panel supply (VCC) must be provided externally because the SSD1327Z has no built-in charge pump; logic runs at 3.3 V, so do not connect 5 V microcontroller pins directly. Request the supplier's specification drawing and pin assignment before wiring, keep the FPC free of sharp bends, and bring the panel up with an existing SSD1327 initialisation sequence (U8g2 includes SSD1327 128 × 96 constructors).
