Common questions

Which Raspberry Pi should I buy?

The Pi 5 for desktop use, camera work or anything needing real processing power. For a project that mainly reads sensors and drives GPIO, an older Pi or a Pico is cheaper and draws far less power.

Raspberry Pi or Arduino for my project?

A Pi runs Linux - choose it when you need a screen, a network service, a camera or file storage. An Arduino or ESP32 is better for reading sensors and driving pins reliably, starts instantly and costs a fraction as much.

Do you supply the power supply and SD card separately?

Yes, both are listed separately. A Pi 5 needs a supply that can deliver its full current - underpowering one causes exactly the random reboots and SD corruption people blame on the board.
