Measure soil moisture the durable way. This v2.0 capacitive sensor detects water content through changes in capacitance rather than passing current through the soil, so there are no exposed electrodes to corrode - it lasts season after season where cheap resistive probes fail in weeks.
The module outputs an analog voltage that falls as moisture rises; read it with any ADC pin and set your own wet/dry thresholds. Combine with a relay and small pump for automatic plant watering, or log readings with an ESP32 for a connected greenhouse dashboard.
Usage tip: insert up to the marked line, keep the electronics above soil, and calibrate your dry/wet values for the most reliable results.
