Full description
The GY-521 carries the famous MPU-6050, the sensor that taught a generation of makers motion sensing. Its 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer measure rotation and acceleration together, while the built-in Digital Motion Processor can fuse them into stable orientation data right on the chip.
Balance robots, quadcopter stabilizers, gesture remotes, game controllers, vibration monitors - countless tutorials and libraries exist for every platform, making this the easiest entry into IMUs. Wiring is just VCC, GND, SDA and SCL.
Typical specs: ±2 to ±16g accel range, ±250 to ±2000 dps gyro range, onboard 3.3V regulator (5V tolerant supply), I2C address 0x68.
