Description

Requires the ACEBOTT QD001 ESP32 Smart Car (sold separately). This pack contains the expansion parts only – no car, controller board or batteries.

The QD007 Robot Arm Expansion Pack adds a five-degree-of-freedom arm to the QD001: a rotating base, shoulder, elbow and wrist joints, and a gripper, each driven by its own servo. Mounted on the Mecanum car it becomes a mobile manipulator – drive to an object, pick it up, carry it and set it down.

What it adds

Five servo axes – base rotation, shoulder, elbow, wrist and gripper – enough for real pick-and-place.
App control – sliders for each joint in the ACEBOTT app, alongside the driving controls.
Programmed motion – record a sequence of joint angles and replay it; sort objects by colour with the QD003 AI Vision pack; fetch and carry with the ultrasonic sensor.
Introduces servo control, kinematics and the idea of a workspace – the standard robotics-club project.

How it fits

The arm's base bolts to the QD001's top plate with the standoffs supplied and the five servo leads plug into the car shield. Assembly of the arm itself takes about an hour with the screwdriver from the QD001 kit and the step-by-step video. Many builders put it on the QD004 Tank base for a steadier platform, as in the second photo.
