The QD010 Wireless Controller is a PS3-style Bluetooth gamepad that pairs directly with the ESP32 Max board on the QD001. Where the infrared remote gives on/off buttons and needs line of sight, the gamepad gives two proportional analogue sticks and works from anywhere in the room – which is what Mecanum wheels deserve: push the left stick in any direction and the car goes that way at that speed, twist with the right stick to rotate.

What it adds

Proportional driving – speed and direction from the stick position, not just stop/go.
Omnidirectional control that matches the car: strafe, diagonal and rotate without changing mode.
Mappable buttons – lights, buzzer, the QD005 launcher trigger, QD007 arm joints or your own functions, assigned in ACECode or Arduino.
Bluetooth range of several metres with no line-of-sight needed, and a built-in rechargeable battery.

Setup

Load ACEBOTT's controller firmware on the car (ACECode or Arduino), put the gamepad in pairing mode and it connects to the ESP32's Bluetooth. The lessons start with reading stick values and build up to a full driving program.
